Secure Up to $20,000 in Government Funding

Queensland Security Grant Opportunity for Small Business

Queensland small businesses now have access to significant government funding to improve security and reduce the impact of crime. The Secure Communities Partnership Program (Round 2) offers matched funding of up to $20,000 for eligible businesses investing in security upgrades. For many businesses, this presents an opportunity to upgrade facilities at half the cost while improving safety, reducing risk, and protecting profitability.

What the Grant Covers

The program supports practical, crime-prevention upgrades, including:
  • CCTV and surveillance systems
  • Alarm and duress systems
  • Access control (keypads, fobs, smart locks)
  • Security lighting and sensors

  • Physical security items such as safes and barriers
These upgrades must be business-controlled and directly support operations.

Why This Matters

  • Protect long-term profitability
For many businesses, cost is the main barrier to upgrading security. This funding helps remove that barrier.
