Last month marked a significant milestone for Trinity Advisory, as Founders and Directors Rod and Sue Sherrington attended the Xero Australia Awards for the financial year 2024. It was a moment of great pride for the Trinity team to be honored with the Xero Australia Community Partner of the Year Award for FY24.
Rod Sherrington expressed deep gratitude for this national recognition, stating, "It is an incredible honor to be acknowledged as the Community Partner of the Year in Australia."
The Xero Awards are nationally renowned, celebrating the achievements of outstanding accountants, bookkeepers, and app partners. The Community Partner of the Year award recognises the Xero accounting or bookkeeping practice that has made a difference in the lives outside of their day-to-day business activities.
Rod further shared, "This award resonates deeply with us. Both Sue and I are both passionate about reciprocating the support we receive from our community."
A key initiative by Trinity Advisory is their Annual Christmas Charity Fundraiser Luncheon and Auction, held each November. This event supports the FNQ Hospital Foundation, aiming to enhance healthcare services in the region.
"Each year, our team springs into action, rallying our valued clients to purchase tickets and donate prizes. We engage with local businesses for auction prizes, weaving creative themes into the event, which set the stage for an extraordinary day," Rod explained.
Rod, Sue and the Trinity team, along with their clients, raised an impressive $405,000 this year, surpassing their $300,000 target. This remarkable effort has contributed over $850,000 to the foundation in the past four years.
Sue added, "This accolade is a testament to the collective efforts of our wonderful clients, sponsors, and the local business community. Together, we have significantly contributed to the health and well-being of those around us."
Trinity Advisory is a multi-award-winning firm of Business Accountants, Advisors, and Coaches. They were the recipients of the People's Choice Award at the Xero Australia FY23 Awards and have won the Regional/Suburban Firm of the Year at the Australian Accounting Awards in 2021, as well as the Xero Partner of the Year (QLD) in 2019.
